(The Love of) Money Is the Root of All Evil (Timothy 6:10)
Money is simply a medium of exchange. A means to acquire human ends. There is the temptation to reconstruct the place of money as an end in itself in our modern day materialistic society. At this point, we lose complete sight of the reasons we need money and lose ourselves in obsession of currency chase. It may deteriorate to the extent where basic needs and joys of life are devalued and sacrificed in a financial rat-race.
