This can happen with 'friends' that you think you can trust but you really can't so don't think its just the service repair guy. Guard your phone with your life.

I'm always wary when I go to print i.e. Phtocopies of my I'd documents.
Several times I happened to find hundreds of I'd stored on the shop's pc (Where anyone could save them on their own USB card). I usually ask them to delete them or I do it myself.
