The Upper Room

Mark 14

13 And he sendeth forth two of his disciples, and saith unto them, Go ye into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him.

14 And wheresoever he shall go in, say ye to the goodman of the house, The Master saith, Where is the guest chamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?

15 And he will shew you a large upper room furnished and prepared: there make ready for us.

16 And his disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.

Question for Discussion:

How did Jesus know this? Was a prior arrangement made beforehand? Was it an Angel that made the preparations?

Jesus knows all things wink.gif. Do you remember the story of Peter and Cornelius? Both of them Peter and Cornelius have received visions and personal revelation about what was going to take place and both of them did not know personally each other as yet. So in the example you showed, maybe this good man had a vision or a dream or an angel's visitation about the apostles of the Lord coming to ask him something. I cannot imagine Jesus Christ making those arrangments personally but maybe he got an extra-hand from one of the angels above.
