This in times passed had specific meanings and even had the names of certain Religious groups attached to it. However, to me the modern day application involves standing up for what is right and rejecting anything that is contrary to the will of God. Now since 'church' is a place where you go to learn a pattern of lifestyle then we are left to ponder that anything or anyone that teaches to go against the will of God (live a contrary lifestyle) is simply the 'church of the Devil'.
