Civil War

With all of the Political unrest that is taking place here in America the next Civil War will be braking out soon. Here are three events that I believe will take place during the Civil War.

1). The Return of the Lost Tribes of Israel.

2). The Building of New Jerusalem.

3). Adam-Ondi-Ahman.

While my research is lacking in proving this I see this as the best possible way to allow these event's to take place.

The next civil war? You mean within the USA? Who against who? For what reason, and where did you get this from?

The only thing I can find at this time is D&C 45: 63-75. I realize that this may not be enough proof for some but this is all I can come up with at this time. It was a thought that had come to me, while working and listening to people talking about the immigrant problem we are having here in America.

The scriptures are apt, but you think the immigrant population is big enough to start a national Civil War (as opposed to just within one State)?

I tend to agree with Zelph - to a point.

There will be war in the US, but it won't be as clear cut as a civil war. A civil war usually means that there will be just a few partisan groups - usually only two or three. However, what we will face in the near future will be complete anarchy. State against state, city against city, neighborhood against neighborhood.

I think that I have written quite a bit about this elsewhere, but I am not sure whether or not that is in the Deep Doctrine Board or the Mature LDS board. So, I will recap my views here (in summary).

I believe that there will be a major economic upheaval. The threatened labor problems concerning the automotive industry could be the beginning of that. Following that, there will be some serious terrorist type events around the nation. Some people have indicated that they have seen nuclear explosions in some big cities. Many of the people who have had visions and dreams of the Last Days have talked about engineered diseases being introduced in some major places. Salt Lake City is specifically named. Following that, another disease, just as deadly, but more slow acting (longer time to pass it on to other people) will be introduced throughout the nation.

At about the same time, huge earthquakes will strike in the western US. 4 specific earthquakes will hit Utah.

At about the same time, China will invade the West Coast, and Russia will airdrop troops along the East Coast and throughout the Midwest. Russia will be stopped in western Missouri, while China will be stopped at the Sierra Nevada mountains. Russian troops will also airdrop into Utah, and using gun registry records and driver's license records, seek out all the men, especially the armed men, and kill them. I have known some people who have had very specific, detailed dreams about this, including where they will flee to for refuge.

Following this, a huge earthquake will make the Mississippi River valley into an inland sea, part of the Gulf of Mexico, running clear up to, and including, the Great Lakes. This is the time when complete anarchy will rule.

Now, back to Zelph's original three events:

A Davidic King (spoken of in Isaiah), also known as the One Mighty and Strong (in the D&C), will lead a righteous remnant into western Missouri. He, the Right Arm of the Lord (Isaiah), will stop the forces of the Assyrian King (the AntiChrist of Revelation) and defeat them. I think that this is what will happen in western Missouri to the Russian forces. I also expect that when the Mississippi becomes a sea, that many, most, if not all, of the Assyrian King's forces will be destroyed then.

The Davidic King will be a major player in bringing the 10 tribes to Missouri, and will be deeply involved in building the New Jerusalem and the happenings at Adam Ondi Ahman.

It is my personal belief that the Davidic King is John the Revelator, the Beloved. He is, without doubt, the senior Apostle alive.

Anyway, that is a short and sweet recap of what I believe about the upcoming events.

Yes, I believe that the immigrant problem will be the catalist for a civil war, there was a day a few weeks ago when all the immigrants boycotted all white owned business. Here in St. George one business was hit very hard, half of the factory didn't show up to work.

Nighthawk you already covered those things extensively in the Mature LDS Board, including references.

Zelph - that is just economic effects, but a Civil War? Unless one group of citizens want to give the immigrants some kind of rights then it will almost be like the last Civil War about the slaves (North vs. South).

Yes, I know that I have gone into great detail there. That is why I gave a quick summary here, as I think it applies to the topic at hand.

I do think that the immigration problems could lead to a lot more unrest. I don't think there will be Civil War, but a Balkanization of the US could certainly occur, with different regions breaking up into "countries" with their own ideals. So, we could see southern California become Aztlan, essentially a part of Mexico, with the Northeastern US a socialist utopia, and the Midwest quite similar to the ideals of the US now. The Rocky Mountains would probably be a very conservative, independent area.

In such a scenario, I think that war could happen between the groups, but I would think that would take quite a bit of time before it happened.
