Mormon Doctrine On Evolution

I know there are two sides, those who believe in evolution and those who don't. I was wondering how many of you have prayed about evolution and whether or not it's true. Since the Lord promises to answer our prayers, did anyone here pray about it?

Comments: Yes I prayed about it but I never got a confirmation for or against I suppose Heavenly Father is way too busy to be dealing with these sort of issues.
