Mormons: Is China In Prophecy - Page 2

Oh, I agree that China must fall, and it will be a very large, very impressive fall. I just don't know of any prophecy concerning it. Part of that probably comes from the fact that almost all prophecy concerns the area or region where the Prophet comes from. For example, Isaiah's prophecies mostly deal with the area that is now Syria, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Israel, and Egypt. (However, there is strong indication that those same prophecies will apply to the US, Israel, and Russia, with each of these major players in the last days being likened to the major players in his prophecies.)

Likewise, most of Joseph Smith's prophecies, as well as those of members of the Church, have had to do with what will happen in North America, especially either in the Utah region or around Jackson County, Missouri. What is even more pertinent to this is that these two places are probably where the really important things will happen concerning the whole world.

So, if China's military power is destroyed attacking the western US, and Russia's military power is destroyed attacking Zion, those could be the ways that the Gospel will go forth into those countries.

China must be under heavy condemnation when you think about the number of abortions they encourage as well as their ONE child only policy. I wonder, how will the Lord look on these things - is it one of 'they do not know better' or 'wicked and evil conspiring men'?

Anyone have a link to this book he refers to? Sounds interesting.

So as to not go too offtopic, I will be taking over that site. The last owner: Nighthawk had it down. I will make an announcement when it is online again.

As per the Topic, China is setting itself up to be a big world dealer, I do not know if they can surpass the EU or USA, but they certainly will have a major say. (There are MANY Threads about China in other Boards that Discuss their pursuits and human rights violations in depth) Their recent outer space exploits shows that they want to dominate everything that is capable of being dominated. I am still however looking for the day when the Church will put its foot in there in a big way.

First it was the Russians (maybe it still is) now its the Chinese, who knows what will be the end times. If we're anything like Rome then it will be our own doing and not from any external force.
