How many times do I have to click to get it to turn off? I'm still clicking and nothing is happening. Dang, thought I was Snake Pliskin for a moment. What an annoying joke to play on an internet junkie!

You do not have to keep clicking, once is enough. You just have to give it a few seconds, after all the internet shutting off is much more than a power switch on a PC.
