I agree with Abnninja the japanese won't give up and they will try to make lots of damage before succumbing, just like what happen in philippine, they massacre the people before the america take over, the japanese at that time do a lot atrocities to the civilian including their own people, I watch one of the survival victim who reveal how the soldier decide to massacre their own civilian in order to blame it to america so they can demand reparation from america knowing their inevitable doom.
That bomb in away liberate many country under the japanese regime including my country, in less blood and casualty than if done in conventional way, even my grandmother tell me how they like to beheading civilian and raping the woman to the point my grandma need to hide and live in seclusion under the house while her family need to act like they don't have female in their house.
