Well that is because it does sound like a authoritarian regime. Lets get rid of those that do not agree with us? All you will be doing is causing resentment. Politics should not be part of the justice departments. We need good police whether it is local or federal police. Leave the FBI officers alone.

Democratic intelligence memo released

The House Intelligence Committee on Saturday released a Democratic memo in redacted form that seeks to undercut Republican claims of FBI surveillance abuses.

The committee made the Democratic memo public after the White House signed off following negotiations between the FBI and the committee's top Democrat, Rep. Adam Schiff of California, over what in the document should be redacted.

Earlier this month, the White House objected to releasing the memo, saying that sensitive material had to be removed first.

Schiff's memo was written to rebut a Republican memo that accuses the FBI of suppressing Democratic ties to an opposition research dossier on then-candidate Donald Trump and Russia. The dossier was used in the FISA warrant for former Trump campaign foreign policy adviser Carter Page.

The White House said in a statement that nothing in the Democratic memo counters Trump's statements that neither he nor his campaign colluded with Russia. Ref. CNN.

"People talk about criticism and that inevitably raises questions about things like brand," FBI Director Chris Wray said in an exclusive interview with USA TODAY. "What I try to tell our folks is that while there are a lot of opinions out there about us, the opinions that really matter are the opinions of a jury when one of our agents takes the stand or a judge when he's being presented with a warrant or community leaders who are having to work side-by-side with our people." Armed man who tried to breach FBI's Cincinnati office was killed following a standoff with police, authorities say. The man, who has not been publicly identified, was fatally shot by law enforcement after he attempted to break into the FBI office in Ohio and fled the scene Thursday, authorities said. An hourslong standoff followed, where the man was at one point "Contained," according to the Clinton County Emergency Management Agency. Source 3o.
