Without Sleep

How long have you gone without any sleep at all? Naps and closing your eyes for a few minutes do not count - it must be active constant consciousness. In certain emergency situations it may be necessary to stay awake, especially where lives are at stake.

I remember staying awake at a youth camp. Because there were no others volunteered to do security outside the girls dorms, so I stayed up with a few mates for 3 nights straight. Also the campsite was not in a secluded area and I did not want anything to happen to the girls if not enough people were up helping with security. We did hear that the police was looking for some guy in the area on the radio earlier. What kept me awake was a great big torch, great company and also a bag of oranges.
