LATTER-DAY SAINTS IN PERU CELEBRATE 50 YEARS

LIMA, Peru - Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Peru have celebrated the Church's 50-year anniversary by participating in a countrywide day of service. Latter-day Saints across the country worked together to serve their local communities by cleaning up streets, cemeteries, stadiums, and plazas.
I had a good friend from Peru that I unfortunately lost contact with, but from what I understand the Church is very social there. I also gather that from the large presence of LDS Peruvians online. They do have a temple very similar to the one in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
