Tribe Of Judah - Page 4

Hello brothers and sisters. When we die we will all be going to the same place, there won't be any separations by tribe. I would like to read any quotes from Prophets who stated otherwise.

What about our life here on earth? My pat. Blessing declares me part of the Tribe of Judah. After than I am given all the blessings, gifts, strengths, and powers so that I may be able to carry out the responsibility of a son of Israel.

Anyone know what responsibilities a son of Israel might have?

Actually I was going to ask that, I was going to ask what specific gifts and powers you have been given as part of the Tribe of Judah but not sure if that's a little too personal to ask.

Comments: I am literal descendant of the tribe of Judah. I have read the posts and found it interesting. In asking members with authority and leaders of the church for the last decade, I came up with similar answers from different leaders. For one, no one sealed in the temple will be permanently separated from their family of different tribe. What I did find out and believe to be true (belief, prayer and pondering)is that during the gathering - after the second coming - members that are literal descendants of Judah, have to work overtime. Not only will they be part of the gathering of all the tribes, but they will ALSO do the work with the Lord of gathering His tribe.

I'm of the Tribe of Benjamin, but my Pat. Blessing is of Judah. I have the sense that there is a reason "The septer will never depart from Judah". I believe you are correct in stating that we are going to work "Overtime", because as the Latter Days come upon us more and more, there seems to be a growing sense within me, that "Things may be wrapping up" down here, and that my responsibility is slowly being made known to me.

We all have the same work as individuals, to save ourselves, our families and our ancestors, and reach out and share the love of Christ and the Gospel to all who will listen.

The Tribe of Ephraim was extended the blessing to open up this dispensation and start the gathering of Israel. But at some point, new and old Jerusalem shall be divided. By Scripture, it seems that the American members and leaders will come under authority of old Jerusalem, at least in lines of PH authority or judging at the end of time.

I am not worried, God is in control, however it works out, is fine with me.

Many of us are mixed linages, My Patriarchal Blessing says I am of Ephraim, but know there are lesser amounts of other tribes, Ephraim was just where I was assigned. The Spirit recently testified to me, that I have the Tribe of Judah too, from the stem of Jesse, somehow though, always knew that down deep. I first thought, how, until I discovered Church records which bring light to the fact, that some of the 12 under Joseph Smith did as well, and from the stem of Jesse.

I remember a PH lesson decades ago, on the PH and the Patriarchal Blessing, we were told, we often have more then one tribe, but are assigned to one. I remember a girl I knew in Young Adults, who was from the Tribe/House of Joseph and a Asian girl was from the Tribe of Dan. The House of Israel was scattered everywhere around the world for a blessing.

We can get caught up, even at the Church Ward level, in wanting callings that will make me more important or what ever. I find, it is just hard enough to do my best each day, without worrying about other things.

I find when I am right with God and doing what I should, the light and blessings come without seeking it. Is that what the Spirit has done for you, is that why you are interested ?
