Why Create Dead Planets? - Page 5

Name: Rob

Comments: Dear friends, the answer to this question is as obvious as the nose on your face. Yet it's only visible to others. It's not likely you've seen it. They are for the purpose of serving as signs and wonders that testify of the God who made them. There is a lengthy explanation to this statement. If you are willing to indulge me, I will show you what I know...In the grand astronomical scheme of things according to Abraham, each star represents an individual intelligence or child of our Father in Heaven...What a beautiful gesture on his part wouldn't you say? He cradles each of us in the expanse of his infinite arms as precious, bright, and shining little stars that surround his Holy Presence. As a loving Father who has sent his children on a Grand Adventure across the Galaxy, to experience what he already knows this Life to be, has lovingly provided us with a map that will lead us back home in glory. Just what are the two main elements of a map that constitute a device suitable for navigation? Being a retired Marine, I'm most familiar with these elements. One being the topical portion which features the lay of the land, giving a visual understanding of where you are and what to look for. The other is the information contained in the maps legend, that provides you with written symbols to identify specific land marks or objects that are necessary for orienting yourself to a particular spot on your map and also proclaims the boundaries of its displayed area. Lets take a good look at the most wondrous map provided for us to lead the way back Home. Its always been the accepted notion that the written portion of our map,(the legend), is the written word of God. But there also exists the topigraphical (physical) portion of our map, that most if not all Saints, have failed to see...That would be the Planets of our Solar System. Before explaining the meaning of each Planet and how it relates to our finding our way Home, we must first define the purpose of this particular map. Its purpose will be to reveal a physical picture of the Lords plan of Salvation as we understand it and also identify each and every member apart of that Plan and describe its inception and progression from beginning to end. Sound difficult...? Not if you had anything to do with its creation...and didn't we all? First the inception...It begins with our presence at a pre-existent meeting of most importance where this Plan has been presented to us. Lets get our first visual image of that reality by going to Facsimile no.2 in the Book of Abraham. Read with me as I take you through the explanation of certain figures that will paint a physical word picture of our beginnings. Since I can't draw pictures, I want you to get a sheet of paper and pencil and draw what I describe. Now...read the explanation for Fig. no.1. We know Kolob to be a star, representing Jesus Christ. Notice the phrase (nearest to the Celestial, or residence of God), in the first line. This represents our Home, the Celestial kingdom, with Heavenly Father as its Governing Head. Fathers identity is also described in Fig.3. Now draw two circles next to each other and label the one to the Left, Kolob/Jesus Christ and the one to the right, label it Celestial Kingdom/Heavenly Father Now go to the explanation for figure no.2 and read it. The first four words describe a star (Oliblish) representing someone who stands next to Kolob or (Christ), who (Oliblish) also holds the key of power. This represents the Holy Spirit who stands next to Christ in Power and Authority and occupies the thrown of God as a third member of the Godhead. To know where to draw the circle representing that star in its relation to the other two, read the explanation to Fig. no.4. Notice the time relationship of Oliblish being equal to that of Kolob in its revolution of the Celestial Kingdom. That places it in the same orbital path about the Celestial as Kolob so draw a circle representing Oliblish/Holy Spirit to the right of the Celestial Kingdom/Heavenly Father. You now have a picture of the physical reality of three stars representing three members of the Godhead stationed at the center of our Galaxy. This is the symbol of the reality of our pre-existent Heavenly Home. This is where we lived with Father in Celestial Glory. The position of each of those three stars also represent the relative nature of their equality, yet occupying separate positions/roles with Heavenly Father presiding at its core. I previously stated that these symbols also represent all of Heavenly Fathers children involved in the Plan of Salvation, so where are they in this picture? Why at Home of course, with our Heavenly Father in the Celestial Kingdom. Satan and his third part are also represented by this at least until they were cast out to the telestial World. In this plan of salvation, it was necessary to descend from Celestial Glory to a Telestial World but not before our First Parents were to temporarily live in a Terrestrial World. Now, next to your three circles representing our pre-existence, draw another circle representing the Terrestrial World of Adam and Eve. After all, you can't descend the ladder of progression by skipping a rung on the ladder...right? This descending in order to progress represents the nature of opposition in all things being necessary to achieve the knowledge of God. Next we come to the part where each of us comes to a Telestial environment established after the fall and we enter the world at our individual appointed places and time. Now for the meat of explaining the meaning and purpose for the Planets of our Solar System. Now that we've been separated from our past, there must be a visual que to our map that suites the needs of our new Telestial environment, yet testifies of the very same eternal principles of the Home we left and the Plan to which this is all apart, so that we not lose our way back home. Now, to the right of your circle representing the Terrestrial Kingdom, draw the inner loop of planets beginning with the Sun and ending with the asteroid belt that lies between Mars and Jupiter. These will represent the Telestial World and the members of the Godhead along with all those who were part of our pre-existent past. We first begin by establishing the same pattern as described in our pre-existence. Lets start with the central figure, whom which, everything revolves around...Heavenly Father, who like our Sun, stands at the head, giving life, light and energy to every living thing on Earth(us). Next to the Father(Sun), comes Mercury,(Christ), who like his Roman counter part in mythology,(the messenger of God), so to is Christ who is the messenger of the Covenant and God. Note the physical traits of each of these planets as we breeze through the Solar System. All the inner loop of planets are small, hard, dense objects as compared to the outer loop of planets representing our next phase of symbolic progression representing the Terrestrial World,(millenium). Is not the Telestial nature of our world small and hard as compared to these? Take Mercury for example,(representing Christ). Its very small, representing the small amount of time he has had actual physical contact with this world. Note the physical features of its surface, pockmarked and battered with craters distorting its appearance beyond that of any other planet...some what like the description of the suffering Servant of Isaiah 53-we know to be Christ. Its surface temperature also pocesseses the greatest range of temperature variance from hot to cold of any of the planets...somewhat what it must be like to experience the contrasting high of being transfigured upon the mount to sinking to the lowest depths of Atonement. You get the picture so far? These analogies can be taken to much greater depth, but for the sake of time and space I'll limit it to this level. Next we come to the planet Venus, and like its pre-existent counter part Oliblish, who stands third in line in authority, this represents the Holy Spirit. Ever wonder who the veiled personal identity of the Spirit would be? You can't know him for his face has been concealed, just like the face of Venus being shrouded by a veil of clouds. Note its size in relation to his direct contact with with us,(the Earth), throughout the course of this worlds temporal existence...He's been around since the time of Adam until now. Therefore its size in relation to the Earth,(us), is proportionate in size thus we have two planets nearly identical in size with Venus being a tad smaller than Earth yet close enough to warrant giving them both the title...of sister planets. In regard to Venus being a little smaller in size, isn't it true that as far as the Holy Spirit having been here as long as the Earth as we know it has been around, that he didn't actually show up until some short time after the fall? I guess that would account for the minute difference in size. Venus also displays a unique quality shared by only one other planet,(Uranus), which happens to be its counter part of the outer loop of planets. This quality is that of a retrograde motion on its axis, in other words, it spins in a clockwise direction. There is an old Indian legend that states..."That which rotates clockwise is eternal, while that which rotates counterclockwise shall suffer death. Is not the Spirit eternal? ...(represented by Venus). Mercury,(representing Christ), rotates counterclockwise...was he not to suffer death? Venuses day curiously exceeds its year...243 day rotation on its axis as compared to a 223 day trip around the Sun, thus once again exemplifying the Spirits eternal nature. Thus far we've come full circle in identifying the three members of the Godhead once again. Now lets continue our search for the remainder of Gods children in our sky. The next would be us,(represented by Earth, being the likeness of the Celestial Kingdom, our former home), and what a beautiful place it is. Full of variety and the graceful touch of Gods most prized and sacred creation...each and every one of us, his children, and all the beauty that surrounds us in nature...What a Dad we have...But things here are of a Telestial nature as was intended. Things can be tough...the vast expanse and beautiful variety of the worlds oceans could drown us...but isn't it worth the chance to immerse ourselves beneath its towering crystal blue waves to glimse its wonder? There are also the majestic peaks of Celestial splendor that almost touch the Heavens, but these too can be hazardous pinnacles from which to fall, if we are not careful where we step. But isn't that view of the world below, necessary for our understanding and appreciation of the Heavens above? Finally, Life as an individual, and among family and friends, can cause the greatest pains we'll ever know...Yet isn't it worth the risk to say we tried, rather than never having traveled that road? This is what its all about...Don't let it pass you by. Love your God. Love your spouse. Love your children. Love your parents. Love your friends and friends to be. Love your Life and Life itself. Do these things and set you free...Whoa...I did a little poem there. I'm not sure how much you allow in one comment, and my fingers are killing me at this point. I've only completed about 1/3 of this analogy so I'll complete the rest of this on a follow up comment tomorrow.

Planets Dead Create Why

Look to the heavens for answers. I have always thought that heavenly planets to be symbols of some sort. It is one of my pet subjects. Even though it is lacking. Many scriptures refer to heavenly bodies.

I also look at the different planets as having specific materials that are separated. Like walking into a building supply store.

I like your posts Rob. You should join.

Comments: I wonder if the dead planets are "inhabited." Brigham Young once said that he believed the moon was inhabited. Maybe they are inhabited by beings in other dimensions or perhaps are "spirit worlds."

I also wonder another thing about the dead planets. The Earth was "baptized" and will "receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost" when it is burned. Are planets actually a form of life?

See that is actually what I believe. There are no dead planets. I think the earth does have a spirit. I think there is other life on planets we just can't see it. If you think about the process of the planet, it really is not different form our own. Live a temporal life, get baptised, go threw some tough times and die, go to the next level an then maybe become celestialized.

Hey, the world is flat right?

Rather off topic, but...
How do I get one of those fancy names like Doctor?

Planets Dead Create Why

What a nice read over but I have one thing to throw out about the title of the topic.; "Why Create Dead Planets?", this is an assumption that they are 'dead'? How do we know they are not with life for a reason?

Why Create Dead Planets?

It seems like Night Hawk pretty well hit things on the head, at the beginning of this topic.

I have to believe, there is no wasted mater, things are reused from time to time, as needed. Also from what I know of Physics, and magnetism, a solar system is like a Atom, which has a positively charged center and elections whirling around it.

In the formation of this system, the hot matter formed spheres, that went into orbit around the sun, depending on material size and speed. Often colliding and breaking up or becoming one sphere. The size and mass determines how far out a planet is, in relationship to the size and pull of the Sun. The other plants add was said, times and seasons, they add balance and act like governors and weights that keep everything running smoothly.

I have read about the hallow earth therapy, and that all plants have this, and people living within them. Fact or false, it is a workable idea maybe. I have some High Priest friends who believe somewhat in it. Me, ?, but I don't dismiss it.

I have read and believe as well, that the Earth has a spirit, but more in importantly I feel it and know it by the Spirit. Being a Sensitive Empath, with the gift of discernment, I know and feel. In fact much of what the Earth does negatively to us, is the Earth Spirit giving back to us, from out action to the Earth and to each other. It is just a real as to me as God love.

As is said too, maybe planets evolve and progress. Some of those who believe in the hallow Earth idea, think that suns, stars are simply celestial worlds, and Gods children live there too. Not sure, but keep a open mind.

Comments: Planets are used as signs and symbols. It is a very big symbol but needs to be there. Just think... If you looked up in the sky and saw nothing... No stars or planets it will be very boring and hard to navigate. It has its purpose.
