This is a great concern, considering how many people are now opting for this surgical route for weight loss. I read an article recently that teens are now going under the knife in greater numbers! Personally, I know 4 people who have had this surgery done in the past five years, none of whom seem to be exhibiting these symptoms (thank goodness). I hope they find a way to get the word out about this, and as the article states, create some standards for the vitamin supplements.
