Misleading A Guy About Me

Misleading A mormon Guy

Name: Karli

Comments: A guy thought my friendly attitude and wanting to share my beliefs meant I was 'into him'. When I saw him starting to get kind of flirty I backed off now he is not really interested in hearing about the gospel anymore... Maybe I was too harsh, what should I have done?

I don't think you was too harsh. If he's really interested in the Gospel then he would be willing to listen to the Gospel regardless of whether or not he's interested romantically.

I was in a similar situation not too long ago and it was only when I started talking about the three hour block I could see his face say something like 'I don't need this', so we split.

A typical problem. A single guy who's looking will often perceive the attention of a woman as interest.

Karli I don't think you did anything wrong, you wasn't harsh at all. I think it was the right course of action. Can you imagine if you hinted any sort of interest? Now, THAT would have been bad.
