Literally the spirit offspring yes as is the doctrine. And we are created in His image. Does that mean God is a homo sapiens? I think so. After all, God is an exalted man according to doctrine (Gospel Principles Chapter 47 Exaltation etc.). But would the esitence of Jesus, being the only Begotten Son in the flesh, also provide evidence for such?
