Comments: I know you guys like pro Mormon stuff here so you may not want to publish this but I hope you will because its just a question and not meant to bash Mormons. My question is this, when a Mormon falls away from his faith what is usually the next choice? I've met a lot of former Mormons and one thing I've noticed with them is they either become agnostic or even close to being atheist but not quite because they still think there is some supreme being but they just don't know the details. What I do find strange is they don't look towards any other religion after.

I haven't been around enough people who left the church to know that but its the first time I've heard that they tend to become atheists. Most of the ones I visit still believe they just have issues.

It seems to jive with my own opinion that if the LDS Church is true, there is nothing else. We LDS consider our Church to be the only true and God-authorized Church on the face of the earth, the pinnacle of Christianity. Of course we don't often go out of our way to state that; preferring instead to let you discover and read those doctrines on your own.

But I think because of that belief, it's likely that if someone falls away from the LDS Church, other religions are not going to be very appealing. I'm fairly certain that would be the case with myself if I ever left.
