It's been awhile since our last newsletter.

Since we merged a few of our sites together
we decided to follow this format in our news:

WHAT's NEW

Well we have been out for awhile and not able
to do a few things. Seems like a crummy virus
was being spread around and got the best of
all of us. Thanks to those of you who sent us
get well greetings.

Congratulations to the Moderator of the Month
Msslmshdy30 and Member of the Month Farseer.
Msslmshdy30 has not been around due to a recent
move, so a few things are not as regular, like
the chat, but hopefully when she is online we
will have that running again. Remember that you
can always vote for the current month by using
the 'Monthly Vote' link in the top menu.

SINGLES

Merging our single sites with our forum was the
best thing we could have done. Now everyone has
more features and the ability to converse with
other singles in a way that our traditional sites
could not offer. What is also better is we can
keep track of accounts better, delete the non
active ones and have back-ups incase of crashes.
Some of you have been wondering how to 'spuce' up
your profile... it's easy... check the 'Bank'
link for details.

LDS RELATED

For those of you who are LDS, remember you can
select the Latter-Day Saint theme via your
profile. There are also LDS relate avatars. For
the Return Missionaries we have recently updated
the alumni sites with your info. However if you
have stories or pictures about your mission that
you would like to send to us please use:

TRINI RELATED

How do you like the recent budget presented by
PM? How about the opposition's response? Are you
happy with the state of affairs in T&T? Come share
your view in the Trinidad & Tobago board.

ROLE PLAYING GAMES

Medieval's current game is set to continue on
Monday 13th October, 2003. If you want to be part
of it make sure that you create your character now.

In motion will be the Scifi RPG which needs more
players to start. Check the Future Earth board if
you are interested.

REMINDERS

Please remember that it is not necessary to be
posting messages asking members how to use the
forum. PLEASE use the 'Help' link or visit the
WELCOME board which gives a list of the most FAQs
given by members. Also, if you are confussed by
the many features in the forum simply select the
NOVICE theme and all the fancy stuff will go
away.

We noticed an increased level of 'rudeness' on this forum. By rudeness we refer to members being very unkind in their words to other members. The rules section has been updated about this - it is not tolerated. Nobody joined this forum to be insulted, if you feel you cannot help yourself then please ask for your account to be closed or we will close it for you. Thanks for being part of the community and not against it. In addition to above we also added a clause about the Classified Ads section so members can feel free to post their links and ads there.

Newsletter - October 2003 Feedback & FAQ News Community

Greetings Forum Member,

Well here we are with 'What's New?' in the
form of our weekly newsletter. Also included
are some suggestions to make your time on the
forum a happy one.

1. MORE AVATARS - we have added several more
avatars (pictures) that you can use in your
profile. These help to distinguish you from
other members on the forum, so we encourage
you to use them if you have not already put
your own photo.

2. MEDIEVAL - unlike other boards, Medieval
has a special look with its' own colors and
symbols. This gives players the feel of being
'in the game' and not just another board on
the forum. If you are currently a player in
the game then please be an active participant
since nothing slows down a game more than a
lagging player.

3. THEMES - sometimes you may select a theme
and then see it changed to the original default.
This happens when Admin updates your profile. It
is a bug we are working on, but until then do
choose your favorite theme via your profile.
Select from Trini, LDS, Medieval, Matrix and
others. We were thinking of making a 'Lord of
the Rings' theme. Let us know if you would like
to see it.

4. BANK - many keep asking how they can get
certain features activated. Please check the
bank. The forum bank can be accessed via the
'Bank' link in the top menu. Here you will find
a list of 'coins' you have earned and what you
can spend it on.

5. SINGLES - these sections of the forum are
growing fast. Remember that on the forum people
get to know you via your posts (messages you
leave), so if you only post one message and then
expect to meet a ton of people you are wasting
your time. You need to keep your account active
by visiting other single's messages and replying
to them.

6. CLASSIFIED ADS - for those of you who just
had an itch to post a link or advertize your
product or service, remember there is the new
Classified Ads board where you can 'let yourself
free'.

7. WHAT's HOT? - ever wanted to know which topics
are accessed the most? The following shows for
the last 12 hours:

Help!

The help section has been updated and formatted to give you greater ease of use. Also you will notice the flashing help button. Most users constantly ask questions that can be answered if they just read the help section. Hopefully this will give them a 'hint' of where to look.

How are you doing? Well the end of October
is almost upon us. It is so amazing how time
passes like a breeze (or is it that we keep
getting older?), but we have some exciting
news for you.

WHAT's NEW?

* Show your photo even bigger! Now in your
profile you can link to a large photo of
yourself and it will show near the bottom.
Singles will love this because they can now
show off how they look. Models can surely
get in on the action, but keep it mind to
not link to huge photos over 30kb.

* RPGers can now choose a Latin or English
motto for their character. It appears just
above their message in the Medieval Board.

* The Future Earth RPG has already started
but in a position for new characters. If you
would like to join in the current game, then
please do so now.

* We would like to welcome our newest mod
(Moderator), 'Tenaheff'. She has started
off in the computer section and will be
given more 'powers' shortly. If you would

* Featured new member: Bighouse. This lady
