Comments: I was reading up on some Missouri facts and it surprised me that there was once a law that you could kill a Mormon in that state. Mormons must have been really hated back then I didin't even know you could have such a law.

It was an extermination order but I don't think it meant directly to kill Mormons as much as get them out of the state and if they resisted well then they could shoot to kill. Some of those mobs were over anxious and did more than kill, innocent children suffered too.
