Q. How can I know if I am breaking a Rule?

Q. Aren't there too many rules?
A. It's not that there are too many it's just that unlike other forums we enforce the rules here. For instance, double posting is not allowed on most forums, but they do not enforce it. Here we do not allow it at all once it's less than 30 minutes from your last post. In fact, you should gather your thoughts before posting so you do not forget anything. If you do, and 30 minutes have passed you can: wait till someone has replied and then you can post again. Wait til 4 hours have passed or become a donating member and you have a whole day to edit your message.

Q. Won't you loose members if you enforce the rules rigidly?
A. Members who do not like to obey rules do not need to be here so we are actually happy if they are not part of the membership.

Q. With such stiff rules how are you able to keep growing so much?
A. People that join this forum and stay want to find a place where they can post without having to be exposed to porn, lewdness, swearing, etc. Since the forum is run at a 'mature' level the input becomes the same.

Q. What if I want to do something, but I am not sure if I am going to be breaking a rule?
A. Please look over the FAQ board first, if you cannot find an answer then ask in your Introduction Thread (The first post you made when you joined). We DO like purposeful questions, it is intelligent to ask a question rather than make an unsure action.

Q. Are the rules changed?
Yes, from time to time we update them and we inform everyone via email or the BGID® updates board.

Q. Are there anymore rules that I should be aware of already?
A. Well each board does (or may) have its own readme thread which might give specific instructions about the kind of messages you can post.

Q. Who enforces the rules?
A. We have several moderators and enforcers to check on things.

Q. May I suggest a rule?
A. You think we need more? If you think there is something that we should make as a forum rule then please suggest it via the contact page.

Copying Our Stuff!

Recently we were surprised to see one of our members using our stuff - word for word - on their site! That is a no-no! We spend money, time and effort in wording and creating many things on this site. Then others come and grab it for free without even a thought of making a donation and sending an Email request at the very least for our permission! We do not tolerate such things! We can understand you coming here for ideas for your own forum, in fact many join solely for that purpose, but do NOT COPY our text or images! Get your own stuff! You are in DIRECT violation of both our rules and disclaimer and members found doing this will not only be deleted, but their server / host will be contacted for violation of content.

If you currently have images, text or custom modifications unique to here on your site please remove them immediately!

Members tend to bog down the Administrator with unnecessary questions that could FIRST be answered in the FAQ Board and then by a Moderator. If you have a question or concern about where to post then please contact a Mod instead of directly contacting Admin. This can be done via the Contact Mod Page.

NOTE: You may continue to contact Admin with regards to change of membership status and / or error messages (Not to be confused with Watch Dog messages).

Editing Messages After Bots / Mods

Members should not edit their messages after a Bot or Mod has done so in order to make their post look better or to remove the comment of the Bot or Moderator.

Q. Don't I have a time limit to edit my post?
A. Yes, and that counts if your content was on topic and no Bot or Mod already edited your post. However, when they edit it - do not touch your post again.

Q. How do you know if I edit a post that a Mod or Bot already edited?
A. Anything you do or a Mod or Bot does to a post is logged, including the number of times and the last person to do it.
