Regifting Christmas

Hunter, no mercy, what if someone sees you selling their gift on Ebay? laugh.gif

Jen, what are you so afraid of, it is yours. Unless the gift came with a condition I say do with it as you please. You need to get some tips from Hunter.

I'd have to say I with the guys on this one. I have learned (at least for me and my family) that the joy in giving the gift is the time and love you spend picking it out and the reaction they have when they receive it (hopefully they like it.) After that, its theirs. If it is really sentimental then they hopefully will know that and keep it. If it is just a gift and somewhere along the line they think someone else will enjoy it--it makes me even happier to know it touched more people than just one.

The reason this thread caught my attention was the fact our family and extended family decided on doing a whole re-gifted or homemade gift. We are all really tight on money and decided between the three families we have a lot of things that we could find to re-gift...especially in Alaska we have all kinds of "junk a.k.a treasure!" wink.gif
