I eat when I have to but most of the time I eat the most when there are long cutscenes and it's actually like watching a movie with your character dressed in futruristic armor in a medieval era. And most of tr I keepy desk clean. Don't wanna play games with a lot of trash and leftovers.

I usually don't eat while playing as my fear to break my game console or laptop due to the grease and oil splash and the likely accident of spilling the drink and the left over or taint can also be a good way for it to grow fungus, at best when the hunger are unbearable I do it while pausing or simply close the game if it don't have a pause, and I choose something like raw instant noodle as snack as its more affordable here compare to chips, with separate drink far away from the console or no drink at all.

I also eat while I play, sometimes snacks, sometimes my meals. I never had the problem of accidentally staining my computer space with crumbs or sauces since I'm very careful when I eat (More on I don't want to waste even a single bit of my precious food).

I use wide bowls as my plate and tumbler/bottle for any beverages. Those rules always keep my space clean and tidy.

I developed the habit of eating while playing due to me wanting to watch something (A cutscene or gameplay) to not be bored and stare on walls while eating.

I don't play that many video games instead I play a lot of muds, I usually eat chips and drink tea or soda if it is a summers day, or if it is a winters day it would be hot chocolate and sweets.

I very often eat at my desk where my computer is. As long as you have plenty of napkins around and periodically clean your keyboard, mouse, etc., there really isn't much of a problem with eating while playing as long as you pick the right foods and keep things tidy. If I'm playing a console game or a game where my hands have to be occupied, then I might still eat, but it'll be much slower. I will say that I tend not to play shooters or real-time games as often, so it may be on average more expedient for me to eat while gaming compared to other people, but that's how it goes.

I like to eat a big bag of chips cookies and other junk food, it also depends on the season. If it is summer then I'll usually eat chips with dip and salsa. The same goes with drinks, I like to drink eggnog during the winter.

I usually use keyboard and mouse, I need both hands to play, which makes it almost impossible to eat while I play. I usually have a big cup of coffee to drink (Momentarily losing the use of the mouse).
