George, even if he gives all of his salary away to charity he would still make millions. His biggest income does not come from his salary, it comes from his businesses (Contractors, along with his wife).

Imagine he recently purchase a Mustang (Tax free, of course). Yes, in times of recession this is how he chooses to be an example to the rest of the population.

Let him and ALL the ministers pay their taxes and then talk!

Comments: The statement made by Mr, Imbert that it cost $130m per day to run Trinidad and Tobago is highly controversial.Surely there must be days or even months when this amount is not spent unless of course, the government has made it necessary to spend this amount daily whatever the consequences. Take for instance the large amounts of money spent by the police on demand. There must be periods or even years when the expenditure of such a force is not really necessary. In my opinion, any nation setting itself a huge amount of money to run a country on a daily basis is going sooner or later to be faced with a troubled economy. This is especially so in our case where oil and gas prices are falling and the local natural supply is dwindling. My advice the government is to recalculate the nation's daily expenditure and be more exact in making statements that are contradictory to the facts and the amount going into the Treasury on a daily basis. The true reasons for our daily expenditure must be shown in detail in writing and not by verbal announcements.if Mr, Imbert wants to convince all of our citizens, that his budget proposals are really necessary.
