Trinidad & Tobago Politics - Page 5

Name: George

Title: A NATION FALLING APART

Comments: Reading the various reports in the local newspapers there is no doubt that this nation is falling apart at a rapid rate. The disturbing thing about it is that those holding the keys of responsibility and power are doing nothing constructive to stop its downfall. The politicians continue to bicker among themselves in public and it seems that all they can do is make repeated promises that they know they can't fulfill. They are actually playing at politics. Here the criminals rule the roost are in charge and no doubt is supported by the local terrorist. [..] Our politicians never learn from their mistakes and are too interested in money matters and feathering their own nests to be really bothered with what is happening to the fabric of our nation. All they do is offer lip service and turn a blind eye to the acts of those citizens in the process of trying to tarnish the image of this nation and destroy what is left of its reputation.
