The main problem with Catholicism is they make doing wrong so easy to overcome. There is no real loss if you sin just say a few lines and suddenly forgiven. That's why religions like this fail… they aren't serious, its all a show of supposed holiness.

As someone who struggles with my sins daily, I would say confession is more than just saying a few lines, and it is to be expected that people will fall short. Confession helps bring things to mind, gives you an outside perspective, and brings God more into your life.
It doesn't follow that because priests have sex that they should not be required to be celibate, any more than drunk priests are an argument against a rule forbidding overconsumption. The question is whether they can be a good physical father to their child and a good spiritual father to the people.
