Baldur's Gate:  Dark Alliance game review

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance is a one or two player game. I finally got to get this game and check it out. This is an RPG game and it is rated TEEN for blood, violence, and use of alcohol. I have only played it for like an hour, but from what I've played so far, I really, like it. According to the back of the game, you can work your way through more than 40 action-packed levels. Battle over 35 vicious creatures including Gelatinous Cubes, Frost Giants and Dragons.

You can pick from three different playable characters: Human Archer, Dwarven Fighter, and an Elven Sorceress. You can pick from three different levels: easy, normal, and hard. The loading time isn't that bad either, maybe only a second or two for certain scenes to load.

Oh, i have this game. I loved it, i beat it several times with my cousins. I give it 4/5 stars, the new installment into the series is coming out sometime. Dark Alliance II. Unfortunately, black isle studio's, the main company behind these games is being shut down due to bankrupcy....poor Baldurs Gate...

Baulders gate is not dead,it has just been released for ps2.I have not seen it yet myself ,but will have it soon.Its supposed to be really good,so since this thread is a little old,and DA2 is new,maybe someone could tell 'me' how it is.
As for the first one.
I loved the game style(hope to see this improved,but not changed)
The story could use some work.(I mean this is Forgotten Realms,they can do better.)
The graphica were excellant(Once again hope to see it improved)
In DA2 I would like to see more secrets and extras(they cheaped out on those)
Overall I give the game 7 out of 10
Still one of the best RPG's I have played

Msslmshdy30:If you beat the game on hard it unlocks 'extreme' mode if you then beat the game in extreme mode it will unlock 'THE GAUNTLET',which lets you run Drizzt Do'urden through a series of foes in an alloted time,if you can do this the game will then let you import Drizzt to the beginning of the game for a 'new' adventure.Of course you cant change weapons and armor(He has the best already)but loads of fun,well worth the time it takes to get there.Sorry if you already knew this.
