Basdeo Panday in a recent interview on TV6 said that he is still waiting for all the changes promised by the government. I think we all are. Food prices are increasing and so is crime. At the same time he seemed to do everything possible before the election to NOT be part of that change he could now be, so why speak?
I think he is a man so obsessed with power that it impairs his judgement, without him realising it. If he really wanted to beat PNM, then he should have stepped aside and allow Kamla to become political leader of the UNC. I think many people were annoyed with the way he treated Kamla. But we did have the opportunity to see how poorly this party treats women. As the old saying goes, "whatever happens in the darkness, always comes to light!"

Comments: Basdeo Panday is looking to come back into politics because he thinks that the current government is [allegedly] the most corrupt of any government in T&Ts history and in need of his leadership. Is he kidding? Panday is like Manning, a has been that will not see anyone electing him.
