Japanese battle ships docked at Port of Spain as part of a world wide training mission. They gave tours to selected schools and locals. Apparently, the Japanese wish to strengthen ties with Trinidad & Tobago.

Japan has had relations for over 50 years and in celebration of this the Japanese Prime Minister is in Trinidad for talks with the government on bi-lateral agreements and trade talks.

One of the things they discussed is that Trinidadians will not need a visa to go to Japan. I am not sure how exactly is this going to benefit the average citizen because going and living in Japan is very expensive.
