The Tobago School for the Deaf, Speech and Language was featured on TV6 News for the lack of help from government where they don't even have a Speech Therapist. Just imagine a school for the deaf, speech and language has no speech therapist? This is a good example of the neglect of special needs children in Trinidad and Tobago. The principal said that the children could progress much faster if they are given the tools to teach them.

With the kind of budget that education gets this should not even be an issue. I hope they get what they need because our special needs children are just as important as everyone else.
