Trinidad Bird Flu

Venezuela and China are both fighting off a new strain of Bird Flu. With the close proximity of Venezuela and a recent visit of many Chinese do you think it is likely that Trinidad is in high risk for an outbreak of Bird Flu?

I don't think so! If Venezuela has it under control I don't think we have to worry but you never know. We need to keep updated to see how the whole thing is being handled.

Trinidad Bird Flu Caribbean / Tobago & Trinidad

The Influenza A virus subtype H1N1 virus known as "Bird Flu" Has caused 2 confirmed deaths according to TV6 News. There are other cases mostly in the South of Trinidad. The Ministry of Health is advising all persons with influenza like symptoms to go to the emergency section of the nearest hospital for treatment.
