Dover and Tarik David, 20, both of Ninth Avenue, Barataria, were ambushed around 7 p.m. On Wednesday, while liming with friends close to a shop along the roadway where they lived, said police.

Investigators said, while standing outside the shop, the men were approached by three gunmen dressed in black, who later opened fire, hitting Dover to his chest and abdomen while David was shot to his left arm, neck and head before the gunmen escaped.
