A retired schoolteacher, plying his car for hire on Thursday night in Fyzabad, stopped to take up a 14-year-old primary school boy and his two friends. He paid a high price for doing so.
Daniel Gay, 58, of Belle View, South Oropouche, was repeatedly stabbed in the head by the three young men who tried to rob him. They got nothing.
Police have since detained the schoolboy and his 17-year-old accomplice. Source 3
