THE MOTHER of Jason Bhagwandeen, who was killed during an alleged shootout with police in Tunapuna on Saturday night, claimed that one month ago a party of officers told Bhagwandeen's father that they would kill him.

Bhagwandeen's mother, who did not give her name yesterday, was at the Forensic Science Centre in St James. She told Newsday she strongly believed that the police was "out to kill her children." "It is a fact about one month ago they went to Jason's father and told him that they will kill him."
