Cops kill Laventille schoolboy

POLICE shot and killed a sixteen-year-old Laventille schoolboy on Wednesday night about half an hour after he allegedly robbed another man at gunpoint in Laventille.

His father, Nigel Lewis, however, challenged the police's version of events yesterday stating that he heard his son, Atim, had been ambushed by officers, accused of robbery and then shot at close range, "in cold blood".

Schoolboy Laventille Kill Cops

We need to do something about the youth in our country, they're dying because they are not getting the proper help, facilities, support and why not, love from home. They come from broken families where they're treated as a piece of property to be discarded whenever they feel to. My gosh it makes me so sad.
