In the Express about a week ago featured an article on St. Mary's Children Home Abuse with Easlyn Orr, a religious minister, resigning from the home for orphaned children in Tacarigua. It seems that Orr approached staff about the problems of children being abused both physically and mentally and they paid a "blind eye" to it. I hope the authorities that be go through there with a microscope and get the PROPER facilities and staff those children deserve.

TV6 News reported that the staff of St. Mary's Children Home have been cleared from the accusations made by Easlyn Orr. The government says they will still follow-up by having someone trained to monitor any changes among the children of the St. Mary's Children Home.

Now let me clarify that they were clear because it took too long to validate the claims so this is really an issue of TIME rather than really proving nothing has been happening there. Very concerning.

Easlyn Orr was on a TV6 report today and said that she is being made out to be a liar because the investigation into St. Mary's Children Home turned up nothing.Easlyn Orr said that something is being covered up and she intends to pursue the matter to clear her name.
