Sports Games?

I'm a lover of most sports related PC games. My favorites are; NBA Live 99, Madden NFL 2003, & NHL 98. I only have the old versions cause my computer can't run the new ones.
My Madden game is for the PS1, and I'de have a later version, but when I bought it I was short on dough.

I think Sports related games are really fun cause you can sort of taste the action without really playing. (Don't get me wrong, if I had the chance to play Football for real I would...)

There are so many out there, what sports games for the computer or a console do you like? Your comments please!

Games Sports

The only sports related game I have bought was the Madden NFL '99 game for Playstation 1, and it was so diffcult to play that I got frustrated really quickly. The Madden series have been known to be one of the most complicated sports games out there, and I learned this first hand. I have played NFL Blitz, which is a lot easier to control, and I really enjoyed it. That was for Playstation 2. I'm not much of a gamer, I will occasionally download some simple football games for the PC but havent bought any high profile ones.

Sports Games? Gaming Video & Issues Computer

me and my brother end up playing alot of sport games, though he is much more into sports than i am/was. right now, i believe we have NBA Live '99, NBA Live '04 (really good!) both are for PC, then we have NFL Blitz '99, NHL '99, NFL '99 (can't remember exact title), and NBA Kobe Bryant Courtside ('99) for N64. oh yea, we also have mario tennis for n64. that's a fun game, but frustrating none the less.

i think i like the basketball sport games alot better though, mainly because that's the only sport i still play today.heh.

Games Sports

malexander, Yeah its pretty tough. But the key is, practice, practice, practice! In 2003, to get good I would play the team practice for an hour a day. Sure, its annoying and fustrating. But once your done, you are alot better!

arthyr, Yeah my Basketball game is realy fun. The only problem is, its too easy. I jack up the difficulty and I can't even score a basket. Guess I'm realy not that good.

Games Sports

I don't want to sound EA Sports biased or anything, but I really like the FIFA Soccer series of games, and the NASCAR Thunder series. I've played almost every version of FIFA since FIFA '95, and every version of NASCAR Thunder sinc 2001. Suffice to say I can't wait for NASCAR 2005, not called Thunder any more, but still from the same stable.
