In Trinidad all the children of school must to wear uniform or have school that can use jeans?

I believe all children in schools in Trinidad whether they attend a public or private school must wear a uniform. When I first came to Trinidad I thought the idea was odd, specially for those families who cannot afford uniforms. At the same time, I think it helps children with a sense of equality and avoids unnecessary teasing based on who has the best or worst clothes.
