One month after advising his girlfriend to flee the Belmont area with their three children, Shawn Calder has become the country's 321st murder victim for the year .
Calder, 39, originally of Belle eau Road, Belmont, was shot dead while leaving the home of a female friend on lower Quarry Circular Road, Belmont, around 4 a.m. Yesterday.
Calder was shot five times opposite a church.
After the shooting the area was cordoned off and worshippers going to church were escorted by security.
