Well based on the reviews of some of the members in a general thread about multifunction printers I decided to buy the HP1210 Multifunction printer which can do everything except send a fax. I like the compact style of it, but I honestly dread the software it was bundled with as it is so restrictive. The scanner is brill and resolution it spits out is phenomenal. I have not had much work with the printer yet, but it seems okay.
It sounds like you got a really good multifunction printer! I found several reviews on it and all of them where good. I was curious as to what you where wanting to do with it. Its main flaw appears to be that it has only four available colors for pictures and no borderless post card side pictures available. Here is a review that I thought was fair on both sides of the argument.

Well ordinarily I would rather separate units, but the cost of computer hardware here is so outrageously expensive it was cheaper for me to get one unit that could do all (US$88). However, HP in their wisdom bundled in house software that does not twain with my other graphic programs and that can be very irritating, but it is just a minor thing.
