FLCL is possibly the weirdest, wackiest, completely insane and absolutely wonderful anime ever made. For those of you who like the edgy experimentalism of 'Evangelion" will absolutely love this one.
Its very hard to pin this down to a plot. It is in essence a social commentary of the world around us. To quote anime reviewer Black Moon:

It swims from one scene to the next and changes subject frequently and seamlessly. Though hard to keep up with at times, it is the most unique anime I have ever seen.
