What do you think about the robot Comic Character known as 'Metallo' that uses kryptonite as its power source?

Metallo was one of the lamest characters in the DC universe. I know allot of people who thought he was a cool opponent, but I thought a robot powered by Kryptonite was lame. The only reason he was even a threat was the kryptonite which made this a re-mold of the same old Lex Luthor plots, kill superman with kryptonite somehow.
