Monkey
What is your strategy for confronting the creature Monkey in Dungeons & Dragons?

I would attack ranged then hold my action and wait for them to enter my space. Trying to get an attack of opportunity. Other than that an oil flask or spell that hits an area would be ideal.
It seems they wold rather run than fight so, just kill as many as you can as quickly as you can and they will most likely retreat.
Some spells let you charm animals, that would come in handy here being that they have such few HD. Possibly even a Handle Animal check or Diplomacy, coupled with an offering of some food. Edited: Oliron on 13th Apr, 2010 - 1:27am
