Hello there mods, support folk, and whomever else this may concern. I realize that the site is currently undergoing some library updates, code updates, and other things, but I wanted to leave some feedback on the new approval pending bug (Feature?). Basically what appears to be happening is that editing a post seems to make the original disappear after showing a pending approval message. This is not a good user experience as it makes it quite a bit more inconvenient for following Role-playing Game games. A lot of us have email alerts for new posts, but if someone edits their post (To fix a typo or improve their post for example) then the post disappears. This creates a window of time where a player might get an email, check the thread for an update, but find nothing.

If this is a feature, can it not be? Or can it at least be toned down significantly so that it catches whatever posts it's meant to? Is this a bug? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

This is not a "Feature". We are working on codes, it takes time. When there is a finality in what we are working on we will make an announcement in one of the newsletters.
