I am a retired publisher and recently wrote a book for Osprey Publishing (of which I was Managing Director for a few year) on the battle of Salamis. I have now almost finished a book on tne even more important battle of Plataea. I'd love to discuss the fascinating process of reconstructing ancient battles with anyone interested.

Hi williamshep! Thanks for telling us a little about yourself. We have a Book section you can check out. There are some titles there about ancient warfare amongst other things. We also have a history board that handles some of that too. Please use the site map to find both but if you have any questions do ask here.
