In answer,

1. Are you on dial-up or slow connection? "Wireless BB so no"
2. Which browser are you using? "IE8"
3. Are you blocking anything on the site via any kind of firewall / ad-blocker? "Rather hard to tell. I use Norton Internet Security software but have this site listed as safe"
4. Do you have javascript enabled? "Yes"
5. Do you get the same problems using other Skins? "Ah, no. I just tried changing the skin & with the new one, no problem. It even seems to load faster."

Thanks for the prod, it was a minor thing but was definitely slowing down my interest in reading the forums.

And to KNtoran, thankyou & totaly agree which is why I didn't want to give up over a minor problem.

Thanks for answering. I removed that code from all Skins. It was originally implemented for slower browsers and connections but is likely not needed anymore. Please try the Plain Skin again and see if it works fast for you there too. Thanks.
