I happened upon this site in my search for self help from a divorce. Marriage lasted 29 years when wife walked out on me. This is what I get after I financially helped her get her Bachelors & Masters degree.

Thanks for posting your introduction message, this INTERNATIONAL Forum allows you to interact positively with many people on varying topics such as LDS Church news, Doctrine, the Book of Mormon, etc. However, do keep in mind that LDS Related Discussion is kept only in the LDS Related Boards as this is an International Community.

The next thing you should do now is update your profile. You can do this by clicking the link called, 'My Controls' in the top menu. You may wish to venture over to the LDS Deep Doctrine board or the News & RM Section and have a look around.

If you like LDS Based Games then you may also be interested in playing: Nephi RPG where you can 'Journey to the Promised Land' or Book of Mormon Battles and see if you really know a lot about the Book of Mormon.

Welcome to the Community, sorry about your misfortune. You are welcome to talk more about marriage in the LDS Board, however we do have a more detailed and mature setting called, "Husband & Wife" in the Mature Section.

After 29 years to have a marriage torn apart is not only devastating for the couple but those who came out of it: children. I don't want to believe that in your case it was based on you financing education for her, it had to be more complexed than that, something happened way before this. Family activities are very important to continue growth within marriage.
