JB You are blessed woman, however how will you know you are 'finished'? |
Dbackers and I have agreed on a set "time limit" for lack of a better term. When I turn 35, we will be finished having children. If I am pregnant on my 35th birthday, of course, we will continue the pregnancy and have another child. I turn 33 next month. I do not want to have children after the age of 35. This is a choice of ours. After the age of 35, there is a greater risk for complications to both mom and the baby. I choose not take that risk, having already had a large number of children. My arthritis will probably get worse as I age, so I am choosing at the age of 35 not to add any other complications or risk factors. Also, (this may sound selfish) Dbackers and I would like to have all the children grown and out of the house when we are still relatively young. We would like to enjoy each other's company while our health is still (hopefully) good. We would also like to travel and go on missions together.
