Every GM / Dungeon Master has their own style about how their game should run that may not necessarily have to do with the actual game system, its just their preference.

Works It Post Play Dragons and Dungeons

Playing Dungeons & Dragons or any other Role-playing Game system in a format of a bulletin board always poses some problems with the number one being the delay in interaction. Of course that can actually be considered a big plus among the working class so they can check in the game without feeling pressured.
