US INVESTOR MAY LOSE NZ FARM
A wealthy American who bought a $1.35 million share in a South Island sheep station is facing criminal charges alleging he misled the Overseas Investment Commission.

As far as I'm concerned, he gets what he deserves. When asked to disclose prior crimes, they didn't ask whether it was an important crime to him, they asked if any crimes where committed. He lied, so now he should have to suffer the consequences. He should have thought about that before he said no he didn't commit any crimes.
